Living to Serve! 🚜🌾

Our Branson FFA Chapter recently traveled to the Missouri State Fair to participate in the 10th annual Missouri FFA Day of Service. Along with over 780 FFA members from across the state, our students stepped up to fight food insecurity in a huge way!

Here is a look at the incredible statewide impact from the 2026 Drive to Feed Kids:

📦 252,564 meals packed by FFA members during the two-day event.

🥫 825,196 total meals provided to Feeding Missouri food banks this year.

🐖 36,000+ servings of pork committed through the Hogs for Hunger initiative.

As Missouri FFA State President Ellie Samek shared, “This day provides members from across the state an opportunity to fight food insecurity and highlights our association’s commitment to serving others.”

We are so proud of our Branson FFA students for putting their leadership into action to support Missouri families! 💙💛

Chase Named to Pirate Wall of Honor 🏴‍☠️🏈

On Friday night, surrounded by family, former players, and friends, we proudly welcomed the late John Earl Chase as the second inductee into the Pirate Wall of Honor.

As Superintendent Dr. Nate Moore shared: “John Earl Chase represents the very best of what it means to be a Branson Pirate. His legacy was built not only on championships and accomplishments, but on the character he demonstrated, the students he invested in and the community he helped shape.”

🏈 Friday Night Lights: Home Opener! 🏈

This Friday will be our first HOME football game of the season! We are looking forward to cheering on our Branson Pirates as they take on Harrison.

Please take note of this important info if you are attending the game:

⏰ Game Day Timeline
▪️ 5:30 p.m.: Gates open
▪️ Before the Game: We will be hosting a special ceremony with the family of John Earl Chase as he is added to the Wall of Honor.
▪️ 7:00 p.m.: Kickoff!
▪️ Halftime: Will include a performance by the Branson High School Dance Team, as well as the Pride of Branson Bands.

🎟️📺 Tickets & Livestream
▪️ Whether you are heading to the stadium or cheering from home, you can find everything you need on our NEW athletics website: bransonpirates.net !
▪️ Visit the site to skip the line and purchase your digital tickets in advance, or to access the live stream if you can't attend in person.
▪️ At the Gate: Tickets will still be available to purchase with cash, or by scanning the QR code to buy online. Admission is $4 cash for adults and $2 cash for students. Seniors 60+ and BHS & BJHS students are free!

🚗 Parking & Tailgating
▪️ Tailgating is welcome! If you choose to tailgate, please do not block traffic flow or emergency vehicle lanes.
▪️ Parking fills up quickly! Overflow parking will be available at Buchanan Campus with shuttle buses running to and from Pirate Stadium all evening.

🍔 Concessions & Spirit Wear
▪️ The concession stand will accept card payments, as well as cash!
▪️ Branson PTO will be selling spirit wear and will accept cash or card payments.

HERE WE GO, 2026-2027! 🧭🏴‍☠️
The 2026-2027 school year went live this week — and just like that… WE’RE OFF! 🎉
The halls are filled with energy, classrooms are buzzing, and our Pirates are back! 💙 There’s nothing quite like the excitement of a brand-new school year and the incredible possibilities that come with it.
This year, we’re being reminded to Be The Compass. 🧭 Superintendent Dr. Moore and the Executive Admin Team are making their rounds across the district, delivering special Be The Compass pins to our staff as a little reminder that every day, we help guide our students toward where they’re going.
Here’s to a year of purpose, possibility, and plenty of reasons to celebrate! Let’s go, Pirates! 🏴‍☠️💙🧭
