Well with festival 2026 in the books its time to sit back relax and send some shout outs to some special people.

First off is all of our local businesses. Without your support our festival auction couldn't happen. It doesn't matter if it was a light up sign to a t-shirt we appreciate everything you gave this year. This year has been tough on a lot of small businesses. I encourage you to watch the Marion Springs Fire Funds page to see the list of donors that we are still compiling. Shop and eat at these places. These are the businesses that needs us the most right now.
But it's not just the auction. Everything from trash bags to kitchen supplies were donated from local people. Our local businesses are the back bone to this event.

Our volunteers... what to say. So many people come together to make this all happen. No matter what role you played and how many hours you worked every little bit is so appreciated. The festival would not run as smoothly as it did without the many awesome men and women that help us each year.

Next our local firefighters. These men and woman take specialized training in fighting fires and rescuing victims NOT putting on a festival. Our department is unique to any other. The fire fund started raising funds before we even had a fire department. Therefore, each firefighter is expected to take part in fund raising activities such as the festival. These people do everything. I mean everything. Weeks and months before hand they are making strategies on how to set up, how to safely execute the entire weekend, plus cleaning the station, detailing and washing fire trucks and equipment all the while still attending meetings, trainings and responding to emergency calls. To say our local firefighters are amazing is an understatement

Last, but not least, our community. We live in a truly awesome place! Thank you so much for everyone who came from near and far and supported the festival. It was a record setting year for the bright light parade and fireworks. So many people were in our little town to celebrate and have a great time! Whether you came and bought some goods from the crafters, bid on items for the auction, played softball or co****le, bought a hot dog... I want you to know you helped make this entire festival a success. There is no place else that you can visit and feel more at home. Marion Springs is an absolute great place to raise and family and live. The old saying still rings true.
"There's No Place Else Like Marion Springs!"
