* At 439 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Ridge Farm to 7 miles southwest of Paris,
moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and up to penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Terre Haute, Brazil, Clinton, Rockville, Newport, West Terre Haute,

This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.
DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Minor to Moderate river flooding will continue along area rivers.

Thunderstorms are possible again today into tonight with a threat
for damaging winds and heavy rainfall. Any additional heavy rainfall
will likely quickly produce flash flooding.

Heat index values over southern portions of central Indiana may
exceed 100 degrees this afternoon.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Thunderstorms will be possible again Wednesday into Wednesday night.
Strong storms cannot be ruled out, and heavy rain will remain a
threat, which could again produce rapid onset flash flooding.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed through tonight. Please report
incidents of flooding, large hail, or wind damage.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, and west
central Indiana, including the following counties, in central
Indiana, Boone, Clinton, Decatur, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks,
Howard, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Rush, Shelby and Tipton.
In east central Indiana, Delaware, Henry and Randolph. In north
central Indiana, Carroll. In west central Indiana, Clay, Fountain,
Montgomery, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Tippecanoe, Vermillion, Vigo and
Warren.

* WHEN...Through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Additional rainfall is expected early tomorrow morning which
could lead to additional flooding. This is potentially a very
dangerous situation, and citizens should remain aware of
conditions in their area and be prepared to take immediate
action if rising water threatens or warnings are issued.

The recent storms have brought down numerous power lines throughout the area. Please stay well away from ALL downed or low-hanging power lines.
Always assume a downed power line is LIVE and DANGEROUS. Do not touch the line or anything it may be contacting, including trees, fences, vehicles, standing water, or other objects.

Keep children and pets away, and never attempt to move a power line yourself.

If you encounter a downed line, keep a safe distance, warn others to stay away, and report it to the appropriate utility company or call 911 if it presents an immediate danger.
