Breckenridge Montessori has expanded enrollment and is now enrolling full time students (4 days/week) for the 2025-26 school year!

Breckenridge Montessori is a full-member American Montessori Society school located in a Victorian home in downtown Breckenridge. We offer a mixed-age classroom of children 2 ½ to 5 years old.

Breckenridge Montessori has two Montessori-trained teachers, a full set of Montessori materials, and our teachers are trained in the social-emotional health and well-being of the children.

Breckenridge Montessori accepts the Summit County Tuition Assistance Programs and Colorado Universal Pre-K. We require children to be fully potty trained at the time of enrollment.

Breckenridge Montessori aims to develop a life-long love of learning for all students!

Get ready for Kindergarten Round-Up! This informational meeting introduces families to the kindergarten program at the school they plan to enroll their child in. Children must be 5 years old by October 1, 2025 to enroll.

Due to the ongoing snow accumulations and a Winter Storm Warning in effect through 6 AM Friday, we are taking steps to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and community members by calling a FULL CANCELLATION today, March 14, 2024 of all Summit County Schools. We made the decision after careful consideration of varying snow totals and conditions across Summit County and surrounding communities and in consideration of many of our staff that commute from various locations such as Georgetown, Leadville, Alma, Fairplay and Kremmling.

We understand that changes to our schedule impact your family's routine, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate these winter weather conditions together. The safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priorities, aligning with our commitment to providing a secure and engaging learning environment for all.
