It's truly the 🐕 DOG DAYS OF SUMMER🐕‍🦺 but the heat won't stop us.
However we are CLOSING EARLY this Saturday, August 22nd. We'll be open from 9 am-12 noon, so our customers and volunteers don't melt 🔥
New donations include small appliances, a nice rug, decorative pillows, and more.

Everyone's favorite deal is BACK!!🐈🐾🐱

It’s that time of year to get your stray or barn cats spayed/neutered at a fraction of the usual cost. These events are designed to help reduce the stray cat population, so this special pricing is specifically for feral, barn, or free-roaming cats.

We know how quickly colonies can grow! This is a great chance to get ahead of it without breaking the bank.

Here’s what you need to know:
📍 A discounted Rabies vaccine ($15) will be administered at the time of surgery unless proof of current vaccination is provided upon arrival.
📍 Cats must be dropped off by 9:00 AM on the day of surgery in a secure pet carrier or trap. We don't need any wild cats on the loose!
📍 You must call and reserve a surgical spot as they are limited per location!
📍 Every cat will have their ear tipped during surgery to indicate they’ve been fixed.
📍 Cats must weigh at least 4 lbs to undergo anesthesia.

Got house cats? We’ve got you covered there too. More specialized spay/neuter services are available for your house cats all year long at normal cost!

For questions or more details, give your local SCVH or CSVH clinic a call, we’re happy to help! Get your name on the books to reserve your spot(s)!!

🔥CLOSED DUE TO HEAT ADVISORY 🔥
The Stephens County Humane Society Resale Shop will be CLOSED this Saturday, July 25th due to the extremely heat 🥵
Our old building and old window air conditioners just can't overcome an entire week over 100 degrees.
Most of our volunteers are retirees and we can't risk their health or yours.
Pray for a break in the heat🙏 We hope to see you the first week in August !

We have LOTS of 2nd hand "treasures" for your home or to furnish a college student's apartment, with ALL proceeds benefiting homeless animals. We call it "guilt free shopping" 🤣
