Join us in welcoming our new Special Education Teacher!

In her words: "My name is Ms. Kozlowicz, and I was born and raised in Oak Lawn, Il. I now live in Edwardsburg, MI. This year I will be the Special Education 2nd/3rd Grade Teacher.

I have taught several different grades. I taught in Ridgeland School District 122 for 26 years and I also attended there. I taught 1st grade for eighteen years, 2nd for three years, 3rd grade for two years, 4th grade for one year and 5th grade for two years.

I am looking forward to spending my twenty-eighth year here at Bremen! Bremen has a great community and each school’s staff goes out of their way to show how much they care for the children.

I received my bachelor’s from Eastern Illinois University in Illinois and a master’s from Governors State University in Illinois. I have worked with children consistently since I was in high school from Discovery Zone to the Swim program at Oak Lawn Community High School (12 years).

When I am not teaching you can find me outside with my dog Java, gardening or inside watching a good movie. I love to water ski and knee board at my parents’ lake house. Being outside is where you will find me!"

From the fans in the stands to the cheerleaders and the band, thank you for showing up in a big way last night! Bremen Athletics continue today: Boys Tennis, Volleyball, Girls Soccer and Cross-Country happening now!

Our next home football game is September 11th vs. LaVille. Everyone is encouraged to wear gold in support of our Kindergarten student currently battling cancer. All Bremen Kindergartners get into the game free! Let's come together to remind Roman that he's not alone in this.

The Indiana Department of Education just announced that Samantha Willsey is a Top 3 Finalist for Indiana Teacher of the Year!

This is an incredible honor, as she is being recognized out of approximately 65,000 educators statewide. On Monday, Samantha will have the opportunity to interview with Dr. Katie Jenner, Indiana Secretary of Education.

We are so proud of this Bremen graduate who cares deeply about her students, and wish her all the best!
