Join us in welcoming our new High School Industrial Technology Teacher, Seth Barnett!

In his words: "I’m originally from Michigan, but my wife is from Bremen. We spent some time living in Elkhart, but after having kids we made the decision to move back to Bremen to be closer to family. Since moving here in 2023, Bremen has quickly become home for my family and me.

Being involved in the community and coaching wrestling over the past few years has given me the opportunity to meet a lot of great students and families and see firsthand what makes Bremen special. Being part of the Bremen wrestling program has been a big part of that experience. Coaching here at Bremen has given me the chance to build relationships with students outside of the classroom and become more connected to the community. Some of my favorite moments as a coach have come from watching students grow, gain confidence, and find success.

Over the last several years, I have worked as one of the Advanced Manufacturing instructors at the Elkhart Area Career Center. One of my favorite parts about teaching skilled trades is getting to see students who may struggle in a traditional classroom find success through hands-on learning and discover strengths they may not have known they had.

I’m excited to continue building relationships with students and families and step into this new role with Bremen Schools."

🚲 BREMEN POLICE DEPARTMENT E-BIKE UNIT 🚓

The Bremen Police Department is excited to announce the addition of a new police e-bike to our fleet!

This new tool will help officers better respond to the growing number of juvenile e-bike complaints and safety concerns throughout our community. The e-bike will allow officers to more effectively patrol areas that are difficult to access with traditional patrol vehicles, while also increasing visibility and interaction with the public.

As Bremen continues to grow, we are also looking forward to the new bike trails coming to town. The addition of this e-bike will allow our officers to safely and efficiently patrol those trails, ensuring they remain a fun and safe environment for everyone to enjoy.

Our goal is always to improve community safety while staying proactive and approachable. You may start seeing officers riding throughout neighborhoods, parks, and future trail systems soon!

Please remember:
• Follow all traffic laws
• Ride responsibly
• Wear proper safety equipment
• Be respectful of pedestrians and property

We’re excited about this new addition and the opportunities it brings to better serve the Town of Bremen! 🚴‍♂️💙
