I am ecstatic to be joining the Bremen family! I am entering my fifth year teaching in Muhlenberg County. I am a graduate of Murray State University and hold degrees in Elementary Education and Learning and Behavior Disorders. I will be graduating with my Master’s Degree in School Counseling in December 2026.

My husband, Ean, and I have been married for seven years, and we have a two-year-old daughter, Maggie Jay. Teaching kids is my passion, and I believe that every child deserves to feel loved, valued, and capable of success. I am so excited to build relationships with students and families and cannot wait for an amazing school year at Bremen!

Hi! My name is Kenley Daugherty, and I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the Bremen Elementary School family this year as a first-year teacher! Bremen is my hometown, and after recently graduating from Murray State University, I am extra excited to be starting this new chapter so close to home. In addition to my degree, I hold a Montessori certification for children ages 3–6 and have valuable experience in a Montessori classroom. I cannot wait to bring that passion for hands-on learning into my new classroom!

On a personal note, I am currently engaged to my fiancé, Jakob, and we are looking forward to getting married next year! I can’t wait to meet all of my sweet 'firsties' and create so many wonderful memories together this school year. It’s going to be a fantastic year, Eagles! 😉

Head Start is finishing out the year with a lot of fun activities! Students have enjoyed making tie-dye shirts, and our Monday Funday included spraying hair and making s’mores. Lots of smiles and fun memories as we wrap up the school year. 😊
