Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for this incredible community. Time and time again, you’ve stepped up, shown out, and stood beside us with unwavering support. For a small but vital organization like ours, your generosity, kindness, and belief in our mission make all the difference.

Because of you, we’ve been able to continue serving, uplifting, and strengthening the very community we all call home. Every act of kindness, every shared moment, and every helping hand has helped us grow into a place of safety, connection, and hope.

As we continue to expand our impact, we are seeking more people who feel called to be part of something meaningful. We’re looking for volunteers who want to help us make Georgia’s House an even stronger, more vital resource in the community—one built on compassion, service, and the power of showing up for one another.

If you have a heart for service and a desire to make a real difference, we would love to welcome you into this work. Together, we can continue building something beautiful, one interaction at a time.

Our shelter is rebuilding, and we invite our community to be part of that work.

Your support helps women and families rebuild alongside a program and space that are also being restored. We are repairing the building, strengthening the program, and supporting residents as they move toward stability and safety.

Our Amazon registry includes categories for hygiene, cleaning, repairs, household needs, current residents’ needs, office supplies, program resources, food, and health essentials. There is also a gift card fund so we can purchase items as needs arise.

The list is regularly updated to reflect current and emerging needs.

If you’re able, please consider purchasing or sharing the registry. Community support makes this work possible, and we are deeply grateful.

Aloha Everyone,

We are reaching out to our community with hope and urgency as we work to support a mother and child fleeing domestic violence. They are preparing to reunite with family out of state, and while Georgia’s House and KCR are assisting as much as we can, we are seeking additional support.

If you are able, we are graciously asking for monetary donations to help cover food and small necessities during their 3‑day journey. Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a meaningful difference.

If donating isn’t possible at this time, we kindly ask that you help by sharing this message with others who may be able to assist.

Mahalo in advance for your compassion and support,
Georgia’s House Management Team

Subject: Social Media Page Consolidation

Georgia’s House will be consolidating all activity to one official page moving forward:

This change will help us streamline communication, ensure your messages and inquiries are seen quickly, and make it easier for our community to stay connected in one central place.

Your continued support, engagement, and feedback mean more to us than words can express. You make Georgia’s House feel truly uplifted and embraced by this community.

With deep gratitude,

Aloha Kitsap Community,

We are reaching out with urgency and asking our community to rally once more. One of our residents and her young child, who recently fled a domestic situation, are preparing for a 3‑day journey to reunite safely with family. Georgia’s House is providing what we can, but we cannot meet all of their travel needs on our own.

To ensure they have food and basic necessities throughout the trip, we are seeking $250–$300 in support. This estimate is based on standard travel‑cost guidance for a parent and child in their circumstances. Their departure is this Tuesday, so timely assistance is critical. For their safety, some details must remain confidential.

Any contribution—large or small—would make an immediate and meaningful impact. If you feel moved to help this family reach safety and stability, please send us a DM and we will coordinate on their behalf.

To protect the resident’s privacy, our Senior Staff Members are prepared to provide their CashApp and Venmo tags so donations can be directed securely and immediately.

Platforms we can Accept on behalf of the Resident:
CashApp Tag: $BumBaiMeLearn
Venmo 1: (Pending Tag Name)
Venmo 2:
PayPal Tag: [email protected]

We will update the main post and any cross‑posted listings once this rally is successfully completed.

Mahalo,
Georgia’s House Management Team

To Our Community,

Georgia’s House, a shelter serving women and children experiencing homelessness and crisis, is reaching out for support on behalf of one of our residents. She is managing a medical condition that significantly limits what she can eat in order to maintain proper nutrition. While we are able to provide most of what she needs, we are seeking assistance with nutritional supplement drinks (such as Ensure or similar protein‑based alternatives).

Brand is not important — what matters most is helping her meet her protein and nutritional supplementation needs so she can stay healthy and continue caring for her young son.

This resident is doing everything in her power to remain independent despite the circumstances that brought her to us. She is a model resident, consistently supportive of our community and always willing to assist with small tasks around the shelter. Any contribution toward her nutritional needs would make a meaningful difference.

With gratitude,
Georgia’s House Management Team

We, the Georgia’s House Team, together with our current residents, extend our warmest gratitude to our community. Your generosity reminded our families that hope is still alive in this world.

Because of your dedication and gracious donations, Christmas 2025 will forever stand out in their memories. Despite the challenges our residents face, you made the holiday feel magical — as if they were not in a shelter at all. Your compassion turned a difficult season into one filled with joy, dignity, and celebration.

We also extend our sincere apologies for the extensive delay in sending this message of appreciation. Please know that your kindness has not gone unnoticed.

On behalf of our residents, thank you for answering the call, for giving so freely, and for uplifting the spirits of every family in our care.

With heartfelt appreciation,
Georgia’s House Management Team

As of Decemeber 12th,2025 we have gathered the wish lists of our clients. Please see below:
Every woman and child at Georgia's House, a homeless and domestic violence shelter, is asked to share their needs and their wants for the holidays. We work hard to make sure they wake up on Christmas morning with a gift that reminds them they’re safe, cared for, and not forgotten.
This year, due to some unforeseen circumstances, our holiday planning was delayed. We are asking our community to help make sure every resident still gets that moment of joy and wonder, especially those waiting for Santa.
If you’re able, please consider donating or purchasing a gift from our Amazon list. Every contribution goes directly to the families we serve.
