Join us next week in Kingston, Bremerton, and Silverdale for Hidden in Plain Sight to learn how to identify risky teen behaviors, local youth trends and more. Indicators of teen drug use, mental health concerns, unhealthy relationships and other risk factors that can be hidden in plain sight. Learn about current trends, warning signs and how to talk to youth about these issues. Walk through a mock teen bedroom and participate in a discussion and presentation about identifying risky teen behaviors, local youth trends and navigating the teen years. Parents, Caregivers, Educators and other adults who work with youth are encouraged to attend.

Must be 21+ to attend. No registration is required, childcare and refreshments will be provided.

Three event dates and locations to choose from, same time for all dates, 6 p.m.- 8 p.m.

Picture Re-Take Day

School Portrait Retake Day -November 12, 2024

ANY student wishing to have their photo retaken needs to return their original photo package to the photographer on retake day. (There is no charge for retakes) Keep the ID card.

STUDENTS absent on the original picture day should be photographed on retake day for school records.

PACKAGES may be purchased on retake day. Simply present a filled out order form to your photographer on retake day, or order online at

This dance is not intended to be a fundraiser - it is a GIFT to MVMS students. But - any proceeds will be given back to the school to support student programs this year. As a start, PTA is donating $300 to the WEB program, and we will pay for the deejay for the spring dance/social hosted by ASB.

More Monster Mash fun! We hired award-winning photographer Larry Steagall to take photos at the dance and we'll share those tomorrow!! Kids also had access to a free photo booth at the event and could send themselves pics via text or email!

We had a great time tonight at Monster Mash with more than 400 students in attendance! Thanks to all the parent volunteers and the staff who volunteered to chaperone! More photos to come!!

Volunteers are needed to help sell tickets, decorate, check-in kids, sell snacks and clean-up! Parent/Guardians - please check ParentSquare or your email for dance details and a link to sign-up to volunteer.

Location change! We are now at Crane"s Castle Brewing.

Hello MV parents!

This is a bit short notice but if you are free tonight, you are invited to stop by McCloud's at 5 p.m. tonight for a Candy Gram stapling "party." PTA isn't selling Candy Grams this year, but we are giving a Candy Gram to every MVMS student and staff member on Wednesday. We've got all the supplies (including some extra staplers and staples) so feel free to just show up! We are hoping to be done by 6:30 at the latest. Thank you!
