Benedict House

Benedict House Benedict House is an emergency shelter for adult men, ages 18+, including members of the LGBTQIA+ population who are comfortable in a male-identifying shelter.

Our employees and volunteers come from many faith traditions to serve and support poor and vulnerable people through the provision of quality, integrated services and housing. We provide case management on site to work with our residents to get: income, medical stability, food stability, specialty services (dental care, mental health care, substance use assistance, caregiver assignment), identific

ation (including social security cards, DD214s, birth certificates), legal resources, transportation, and housing.

HUD just cut funding to local programs. We are losing our housing vouchers, which means we have even fewer affordable housing options for the men we serve.
