I enjoy participating in Jingle Fest because it’s a fun way to bring people together while supporting a cause I truly care about. I love supporting Meals on Wheels and their mission to provide nutritious meals, connection, and support to seniors in our community.

What makes Jingle Fest unique is the way it brings people together for a fun and memorable celebration while supporting such an important cause.

I’m also a caregiver for my 82-year-old grandpa, so I see firsthand how important it is for seniors to have support, especially those who may not have family or loved ones nearby to help them.

I would definitely encourage prospective vendors to participate in Jingle Fest. It’s a very well-run event with a great sense of community, and the team does an excellent job creating a welcoming and organized experience for everyone involved.

🎄🦌 Jingle Fest Reindeer Update! 🦌🎄

The Jingle Fest reindeer are getting ready for their big December journey!

To stay strong and speedy, they're eating plenty of their favorite veggies and spending time playing games to keep their hooves moving and their spirits high. After all, delivering Santa's sleigh is serious business!

Did you know that many families leave carrots for the reindeer along with cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve? 🥕🍪 The reindeer appreciate a healthy snack before their long night of helping spread holiday magic around the world.

We want to know:

Do you leave carrots for the reindeer when you set out cookies for Santa?
👍 Yes, always! ❤️ Sometimes! 🎄 We have another special treat for them!

Our team is always looking for ways to make mealtime a little more special. On themed days and special occasions, you may find a fun surprise on the menu, while enjoying a gourmet burger on Whole Wheat Bun, Lettuce and Tomato, California Vegetables with Graham Cracker Packet and Fresh Pear. Good company and smiles all around on Monday celebrating one of America’s favorite sweet treats with a special surprise inspired by National S’mores Day!

Today we're highlighting our community partner Kitsap Regional Library, who is dedicated to connecting, educating, and inspiring our community.

We're excited to join them at other community organizations at the Senior Resource Fair this Saturday, August 8, at VFW Post 4992 in Silverdale.

Stop by our table, say hello, and learn about Meals on Wheels Kitsap programs and services, as well as free resources tailored to Kitsap County residents over age 55.

Summer may be in full swing, but the workshop is already buzzing!

Our local vendors, makers, and community partners are busy creating the holiday experiences you’ll enjoy at Jingle Fest. The countdown has officially begun. They are hard at work crafting holiday magic, and Santa is already making plans for November 14-15.

Over the next few months, we’ll take you behind the scenes to meet the amazing local “elves” helping to bring a memorable holiday community event!

Are you age 60 or older? If yes, you may qualify for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP). The SFMNP provides benefits to lower-income older adults to purchase locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey, and herbs. It also helps local farmers by encouraging people to shop at farmers' markets and roadside stands. Applications are still available and being accepted on a first-come basis. The program runs from June 1 to October 31.

The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program helps eligible seniors in Kitsap County use benefits at local farmers markets to access fresh fruits and vegetables.
