Brenham Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library

09/25/2026

Inspired by Dolly's generous heart, we are celebrating a new tradition of Give Like Dolly Day on September 25 aka 9/25 or sweetly known as "9 to 5". The Nancy Carol Roberts Library currently has 153 Brenham children enrolled to receive a book in the mail each month. We pay half of the cost of each book with donations. You can help us reach more families in Brenham by donating directly to the library or to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library Foundation website. Several local businesses are raising money this month for the program to help local children, and we greatly appreciate their support. Won't you join in? It only takes $31 to pay for one child for the whole year. Dolly would be so happy!!

This is what it looks like to .

In thousands of communities across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and Republic of Ireland, children receive a free book every month through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Behind every book is a community of people who believe in the power of giving—our donors, volunteers, local partners and supporters who help make this program possible.

On September 25, Give Like Dolly Day, you can help us reach even more children and families in a community near you. Every gift helps us continue building a community where children can grow up surrounded by the joy of books and reading.

Give Like Dolly Day is coming September 25!
Dolly Parton believed in giving back and helping children dream bigger—and this year, we’re celebrating
that spirit here in Brenham through Give Like Dolly Day.
On September 25, we’re inviting our community to join us in giving back to children by supporting Dolly
Parton’s Imagination Library of Brenham-Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library. Your support helps make it possible for children in our
community to receive a free, high-quality book every month from birth to age 5.
