What an amazing undertaking our Brenham ISD Child Nutrition has taken on this summer! If you are able to help volunteer with preparing or handing out meals, contact them to sign up!

Two pickups down, and look at the impact we’re making together! 🎉 We are so incredibly proud to share that we have already served 2,096 children a total of 20,960 meals!

The Brenham ISD Board of Trustees officially accepted a generous monetary donation from Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Chilelli aimed at enhancing science education at Brenham Junior High School.

Today, Brenham ISD teachers and administrators attended the Region 6 ESC Bilingual/ESL/Title III Conference, where they participated in professional learning focused on supporting our emergent bilingual students. 📚

Throughout the day, educators explored topics including literacy instruction, family engagement, writing across content areas, language development, and effective strategies for multilingual learners. They also had the opportunity to collaborate with educators from across the region and gather new ideas to bring back to our classrooms.

We are proud of our team’s commitment to continuous learning and ensuring every student has the support they need to succeed. 🌟💚 Thank you to Region 6 ESC for hosting a great day of learning!

📢 Reminder: All Brenham ISD campuses and district offices will be closed on Thursday, June 18, in observance of Juneteenth.

As part of our summer schedule, district offices are also closed on Fridays. Offices will remain closed on Friday, June 19, and will reopen with regular business hours on Monday, June 23.

Juneteenth is a time to reflect on our nation's history and celebrate freedom, resilience, and progress. We wish our students, staff, families, and community a safe and meaningful holiday weekend.
