City Services will be closed Monday, May 25, 2025. From all of us to all of you, have a safe and happy Memorial Day.

This closure affects the following:

• Blue Bell Aquatic Center - Memorial Day Holiday Weekend special hours:
− Friday, May 22 - indoor pools open 6:00 am - 1:00 pm
− Saturday, May 23 - outdoor pool open 10:00 am - 5:00 pm | indoor pools open 3 pm - 5 pm
− Sunday, May 24 - all pools open 1 pm - 5 pm
− Monday, May 25 - all pools open 1 pm - 5 pm
− Regular Summer hours start Tuesday, May 26

Not affected by the holiday:
• Brenham & Washington County Texas Visitor Center - Open 10 am - 5 pm Monday
• Collection/Transfer & Recycling Station - Open regular hours
• Residential & Commercial Trash Pick-up - Regular schedule

NOTICE- - - Utility Billing System Is Down. May 5, 2026

Utility Billing and Courts are OPEN

The maintenance today with our utility billing software is taking longer than expected. We hope to have it up and running by noon but please check back to this post for updates throughout the morning tomorrow.

CLOSURE NOTICE: Utility Billing and Municipal Court will be closed on Tuesday, May 5, due to a scheduled system upgrade. Services are expected to resume on Wednesday, May 6.

While we will work to restore services as quickly as possible—including utility and court payments, new service applications, and disconnections—residents should plan for a full-day interruption. All Utility Billing and Municipal Court services, both online and in person, will be unavailable on May 5.

Saturday was a beautiful day to put on our orange safety vest and get out along the 2-mile stretch adopted by Brenham Municipal Court for highway pickup. If you throw it out, someone has to pick it up. Don't be a litter bug, keep Texas clean! -a-Highway
