🏀🚧 CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: HENDERSON PARK! 🚧🏀

Things are moving along at Henderson Park! Our basketball court cover project is making progress, and the piers were poured yesterday! 💪

These important foundation steps bring us one step closer to providing a covered space for our community to shoot hoops, play, and enjoy outdoor recreation with a little more protection from the Texas sun. ☀️🏀

We’re excited to watch this project take shape and look forward to sharing more updates as construction continues!

Stay tuned for more progress from City of Brenham Parks & Recreation — creating places where our community can play, connect, and thrive! 💙

💚📵 WHAT A FUN DAY TO UNPLUG! 🌳🎾

Wednesday, October 21, we celebrated Unplug Texas with a day full of fresh air, movement, laughter, and community connection! ❤️

☕ We started the morning at Jackson Street Park with Coffee & Conversations, a walk along the trail, and some pickleball fun!

🎯 Then we headed downtown to Alamo Alley and Toubin Park for giant lawn games, a fun scavenger hunt, and plenty of opportunities to put down our phones and enjoy time together.

🎉 We even got to wrap up the day by staying downtown and watching the BISD Homecoming Parade! 💙🐾

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came out, unplugged, played, explored, and connected with us! And thank you to everyone who helped make the day special. Our community is what makes these events so meaningful! 🥰

📅 MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
💚 Unplug Texas returns October 21, 2027!
