We were made aware of the social media claims made by a citizen against our officer based on their interaction over the weekend of May 25 and 26. After a thorough investigation of the incident we have found that the evidence does not agree with the citizen's version of events. Body camera video as well as video from the back of the police car shows that our officer was polite and professional through the entire interaction.

Currently we are reviewing the procedure for releasing the entire video of the interaction. When we are able to release the footage it will be available for the public to view here. In the meantime, we invite the citizen who has made these accusations to schedule a time to come down to city hall and we can share the entire video with her immediately.
