To provide a sanctuary for nature that inspires exploration and lifelong environmental conservation. Owls' Hill Nature Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit located in Brentwood, TN that provides a protected home for over 2,000 species of flora and fauna in our 300-acre nature sanctuary. We offer over 120 public educational and recreational programs a year, school field trips, summer cam

p, private tours, and more. We are open for Day Pass visitors to explore our trails, gardens, and arboretum Monday through Saturday from 8:30am-3pm.

Tickets are going fast for our Spring Lantern Hikes. We'll head out on a guided hike through the woods and explore by lantern light as we listen for nocturnal creatures like frogs, owls, and night-singing insects while we learn about the history of Owl's Hill.

Our trails are officially open! Thanks to the work of some dedicated volunteers and Jarvis Tree Experts, our trails are open just in time for you to come out and enjoy a hike at Owl's Hill!

🌱 Get your day pass ($5 per person) online the day you plan to visit. owlshill.org/visit
🌸 Check in at the Visitor's Center when you arrive.
🍄 Please leave pets at home, take your trash with you when you leave, and stay on the trails. Help us take good care of our fragile habitats!
☀ Don't forget to wear insect repellent and sunscreen!

Our Spring Knee-High Naturalist series starts March 25! Is your nature kid ready to head out in search of bugs, tadpoles, fossils and more? Guided by an Owl's Hill Nature Educator, preschoolers meet animal ambassadors, make nature-themed crafts and explore the trails.

This six-week program is open to children 3-5 accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration required.
Meets Wednesdays from 10 - 11:30 am March 25 - April 29

Our first Homeschool Day of the season is less than a week away! Our morning program is SOLD OUT, but there are still plenty of spots in our afternoon Animals in Winter program. Join us for more fun and exploration as we learn about the adaptations that help animals survive the winter and go in search of animal signs.

Other spring programs include Feathered Friends, Butterflies, and Wildflowers. Come join us!

Wild About Fungus program is back again! Peer into the fascinating world of fungi and find out how fungi makes the world go 'round. Learn how to grow your own edible mushrooms at home, and go for a hike to learn about fungi in our area.

February 21, 9:30 am - 12 pm or 1 - 3:30 pm
The same program will be presented at the morning and afternoon sessions.

Registration includes admission for up to two people, an oyster mushroom grow kit to take home and a guided hike.

Owl's Hill will remain closed for Day Passes while we assess the safety of our trails and work to clear downed trees and debris. At this time we do not know how long it will take to make our trails safe for visitors again.

Upcoming public programs including this week's Naturalist Workshop and Wild About Bluebirds, scheduled for February 14, will continue as planned.
