The new Rockingham County Municipal Building is well underway and on time for a Summer 2025 completion date!

It's been exciting to watch the progress so far, and Rockingham County is looking forward to having this building as a resource for many departments and programs once it comes to fruition. Thank you to Harvey Construction, Warrenstreet Architects, and Revision Energy for your continued hard work on this project, along with Senior Director of Facilities Operations, Jude Gates, for spearheading this initiative.

Meet the Rockingham County Commissioners:

Kate Coyle resides in Portsmouth, NH and represents District 1 - serving Epping, Exeter, Greenland, Hampton, Hampton Falls, Kensington, New Castle, Newfields, Newington, Newmarket, North Hampton, Portsmouth, Rye, and Stratham. She is an attorney, and has worked in criminal law as both a public defender and prosecutor for the past 15 years. She also shares a real estate development business with her husband. Commissioner Coyle is serving her 3rd year as a County Commissioner, and is currently in a 4-year term.

"Working in these sectors (criminal law and real estate), had given me a lot of insight into County services, such that my interest was piqued in serving the community as a County Commissioner. I am passionate about the work because our collective efforts help with the community. From meals on wheels, to drug rehabilitation, to making sure your house deed gets properly recorded, there is so much that County offers to the community. I'm grateful to be part of such a strong team working to help our community."

Steven Goddu resides in Salem, NH and represents District 2 - serving Atkinson, Derry, Newton, Plaistow, Salem, Seabrook, South Hampton, and Windham. For the past 7 years, Commissioner Goddu has served on the Salem, NH Municipal Budget Committee and is currently serving in a 2-Year Term as a County Commissioner.

"I am drawn to public service with a focus on transparent government and fiscal conservative values. I treat tax money as if it is my money...because it is, along with each and every tax payer in the County. The Salem, NH Municipal Budget Committee helps set the spending limits and keeps taxes as low as possible without compromising the services that residents have grown to expect. My role in County Government offers me the additional opportunity to be a fiscal hawk relative to County spending. I am thrilled to help manage the business of Rockingham County, NH. Our dedicated employees are compassionate and possess great talent, plus it's a great place to work."

Brian Chirichiello resides in Derry, NH and represents District 3 - serving Auburn, Brentwood, Candia, Chester, Danville, Deerfield, East Kingston, Fremont, Hampstead, Kingston, Londonderry, Northwood, Nottingham, Raymond, and Sandown. His background in public service includes being a Derry Planning Board Member, Southern NH Planning Commissioner, Derry Town Councilor for 6 Terms (18 Years), Derry State Representative for 5 Terms (2010-2020), and a Rockingham County Commissioner, which he is currently serving in a 4-Year Term.

"I love being a team player at the County, being a County Commissioner, and making sure the services we provide for the County are what our citizens respect and deserve. We are in charge of watching and spending tax dollars through providing Long Term Care, Assisted Living, Department of County Corrections, Sheriff's Office, Registry of Deeds, County Attorney's Office, Finance Office, Human Resources, and Facilities Operations. Having served in a legislator position and an executive branch position, my skills are best used at the County in executive branch as I feel I can get more done and have the best results."
