The Brentwood Regional Community Chest was founded nearly 60 years ago by Rose Pierce based on her belief that a community should support its own. BRCC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization entirely supported by the community. We have a dedicated Board of Directors, committee members, and volunteers.
We are supported by local non-profits, service clubs, individually owned businesses, clubs, and individuals. We are also supported by the Brentwood Union School District and the City of Brentwood. We have no paid staff.
Because of the generosity of our community, we were able to provide non-perishable food, an entire holiday dinner—including a turkey and a pie to be prepared at home—and a gift for every child from age 0 to 18 years old to 535 families and seniors.
Thank you to everyone who contributed funds, food, toys, and volunteer time. This would not be possible without you!
Rose’s goal was certainly reached again this year. We are a community that supports its own!
