A gentle reminder that trails can be tough on our four-legged friends during the summer months. ☀️🐕

Before bringing your dog on an adventure at a state park, consider:
🐾 Temperature and humidity
🐾 Hot rocks and pavement
🐾 Water availability
🐾 Trail difficulty and distance

Summers can be hot, so please plan ahead, be prepared and recreate responsibly with your pets.

We need YOUR help - in fact, we need participation from 198 of you to complete this special project! Who can participate? Anyone able to complete the prompt: "I can make a difference by..." Even young children can participate with an assist from a grown up. Stop by the library starting today. Our goal is to have this completed and hung from the ceiling by July 4th.

This project is part of our 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution Series, funded by a Civic and belonging grant from Hampshire Humanities.
