In 1972, it became a recreation center and neighborhood park in Brevard, NC. In addition to our Lunch Plus program, we offer educational programs concerning financial matters, Medicare, health concerns, exercise classes, volunteer opportunities, non-fiction book club, Toasty Toes-knitting for our troops, and other activities.

Those persons who participate in the Lunch Plus program are eligible to have free transportation to Silvermont using the county van service--in areas where service is provided.
