We continued our Manufacturing Day Series this week, expanding the focus to highlight the Business & Entrepreneurship career pathway.

In partnership with Transylvania County Schools and Blue Ridge Community College, nearly 50 students from Brevard High School and Rosman High School visited Smith Systems, Nature Trails, LLC, and Pisgah Coffee Roasters to learn what it takes to start, grow, and sustain a successful business in Transylvania County.

From finding a niche in the market to scaling operations and building strong brands, students heard directly from local entrepreneurs about the risks, rewards, and realities of business ownership. We’re proud to help connect students with the leaders and innovators shaping our local economy.
