Congrats Bev Uhlenhake!

Introducing the new vice chair of the Maine Dems: Bev Uhlenhake.

Bev got her start in politics by getting involved in the LGBTQ+ equality and marriage campaigns. She previously served on the Brewer City Council, including two terms as mayor. She also served as chair of the Penobscot County Democrats, and last year ran a hard fought campaign for State Senate against an entrenched incumbent. Bev and her wife live in Brewer with their three children.

Now, she’s ready to capitalize on the diversity of and wide range of ideas in our party, which boasts the strongest membership we’ve ever had, to build a better Maine in 2021 and beyond.
