Friday, August 28th is picture day!!! We will be taking staff and student photos during the school day. If you are a running start student or have a different schedule, you may come in from 12:30 - 2:15 to get your picture taken at the HS gym.

Dear Middle School Families,
We apologize for the short notice, but we want to make sure our incoming 6th graders have an opportunity to visit the Middle School and get ready for their first day!
🎒 INCOMING 6TH GRADERS
Come meet us and get ready for Middle School!
Students will:
Receive their class schedule
Get their locker and combination
Learn about Middle School activities
Meet staff
Get familiar with the building
Have an opportunity to ask questions
7TH & 8TH GRADE STUDENTS
You are also welcome to stop by between 6:00–7:00 p.m. to pick up your class schedule.
(Please obey all traffic signs throughout the district as new paving would’ve taken place.)
We recognize this is coming together quickly, and we sincerely appreciate the flexibility and support of our families.

Due to a schedule change in paving, we will be cancelling BEAR Day due to the lack of access and parking at the school. Sports will continue tonight and physicals will still be offered this evening from 4-6pm at the High School. Schedules and required paperwork will be passed out on the first day of school, Thursday, August 27th.

HS students - If you need a schedule change, please email Ms. Rincon detailing your schedule change.

🐻 Meet Ms. W! ❤️

We are excited to introduce Ms. Amy Wollaston to our Brewster Elementary community! Ms. W is joining our Transitional Kindergarten team and brings more than 20 years of experience in education. We are so fortunate to have her experience, passion, and love for supporting children joining our Brewster Bears team!

Here’s a little more about Ms. W, in her own words! ⬇️

Hi! I'm Amy Wollaston, and I'm thrilled to join Brewster Elementary as a new Transitional Kindergarten teacher — you can call me Ms. W.

When I'm not in the classroom, you'll find me traveling, staying active outdoors, or spending time with friends and family. My fiancée and I moved to Brewster last December from Lake Stevens, and we are getting married on September 25th of this year!

Between us, we have four grown kids, including twin girls, who are off at college and working, plus three dogs and three cats. We're enjoying getting to know Brewster and becoming part of the community.

I bring over 20 years of experience in general education, with the last 12 years focused on my passion: working as a Multilingual Learner Specialist.

For the last several years, I have also had a part-time private practice centered on nervous system coaching and mindfulness, which stems from my love of writing, yoga, and meditation. As part of that practice, I'm developing social-emotional education materials for kids from kindergarten through college.

I can't wait to dive into a wonderful year with our TK students!

🐻 Meet Ms. Phillips! ❤️

We are excited to introduce Ms. Kate Phillips to our Brewster Elementary community! We are so happy to have her joining our team as our fifth grade teacher and can’t wait for our students and families to get to know her.

Here’s a little more about Ms. Phillips, in her own words! ⬇️

Hi! My name is Kate Phillips and I'm so excited to be part of the Brewster school community! I'm originally from Hayden, Idaho, and I'm a twin. I graduated from Vanguard University, where I played collegiate volleyball while earning my degree in education.

Outside of the classroom, I love cooking, being creative and artistic, spending time at the lake, and skiing. I'm also looking forward to working alongside such a great staff, getting to know families, and becoming part of the Brewster community.

I can't wait to meet my students, see their personalities shine, and make this a fun year full of learning and growth!
