On June 24–26, members of the Brewton Fire Department helped host the Alabama Pipeline Emergency Response Initiative (APERI) training, presented by the Alabama Fire College in partnership with South Alabama Gas.

This specialized training equips first responders with the knowledge and skills needed to safely and effectively respond to pipeline emergencies, helping us better protect the citizens of Brewton and the surrounding communities.

We would like to extend a special thank you to South Alabama Gas for being an outstanding host throughout the three-day class. We sincerely appreciate the delicious meals, your hospitality, and the extra desserts you sent home with us. Your generosity and continued support of first responders did not go unnoticed.
