Cassidy's Marina

Cassidy's Marina Family owned and operated Marina on the Metedeconk River providing the best marina value to boaters since 1930. Boats can stay in the water until December 1.

Cassidy's Breton Woods Marina resides on the beautiful Metedeconk River in Brick NJ. Our marina is right across the river from Windward Beach and just a quarter mile west of Eagle Point. When you loosen the mooring lines on your boat at our Marina you have immediate access to the open waters of the Metedeconk River. Forget about winding your way through lagoons or no wake zones. You are already th

ere! Our location compares very well to other marinas in Ocean County and the New Jersey Shore. Once you walk out to your boat slip and look around the difference will be obvious. Boat slips at Cassidy's Marina include fresh water and electric. Unlike most marinas in Brick, our location is home to a very scenic view from your boat slip. The access to open water from our slips is a real benefit to people who enjoy fishing or taking the family and friends out for a cruise or a day of water sports. Sailboat owners can also take advantage of our deep water location. Cassidys Marina is located in Bricktown and is close to Seaside, Toms River and Point Pleasant. We are across the river from Windward Beach. Boaters have the option of spending the day enjoying the Metedeconk River, heading out to the Barnegat Bay or heading out to the Ocean via the Point Pleasant Canal. We are walking distance from a Dunkin Donuts, liquor store, pizza and sandwhich shop. We are also a relatively short drive away from the boardwalks. Cassidys Marina has a 20 ton rated boat lift to remove your boat from the water when the seasons over. Boats can be launched or removed from the water on site. Winter boat storage and winterization are offered to Cassidy's customers. Owners are permitted to work on their boat or have somebody else work on them at our facility. Cassidy's Marina is located at the end of a quiet dead end street. We are family owned and operated. The owner's actually live on site. The only way to access our facility is past the owner's house.

That escalated quickly.

Many more slot size fish to 36 inches reported from Rhode Island to Cape Cod, post-spawn stripers exiting Chesapeake and Delaware bays. Bunker galore, herring blitzes, big bass headed up the Hudson. Buckle up for next week’s full moon.

Each month we will be focusing on one aspect of boating safety! This month, we are going to focus on distress signals. We will posting throughout the month about different forms of distress signals and best practices with them and so much more!

According to the BoatUS foundation, “The visual distress signal requirement for recreational boaters states that all boats when used on coastal waters, including the Great Lakes, the territorial seas and those waters directly connected to the Great Lakes and the territorial seas, up to a point where the waters are less than two miles wide, and boats owned in the United States when operating on the high seas must be equipped with visual distress signals. There are a handful of exceptions so you should always check your state regulations to be certain you comply.

Regardless of exemptions, all boaters should be able to signal for help. Boaters must have current dated US Coast Guard-approved day and night signals for all boats operating on coastal and open bodies of water.”
