Janus Center for Youth in Crisis The Janus Center primarily serves Greater Bridgeport youth, ages 11-17, who are homeless or at risk Host home stays average ten days or less.

The Janus Center for Youth in Crisis (JCYIC) provides the only 24 hour mobile crisis

intervention services for conflicted youth and their families, and respite care for youth aged

11-17, in Greater Bridgeport. We offer a combination of in-house care at two leased apartments, one for boys and one for girls; and host homes. Reconciliation rate with families

for children who participate in the

residential program is 95% up to three months after reunion. We offer “wrap around” services of counseling, mentoring and academic assistance.

OUR NEW ADDRESS IS 1719 CAPITOL AVENUE, BRIDGEPORT, CT 06604
The Council has responded to state budget cuts, and the loss of our CO-OP program by becoming leaner and more focused. We are moving to smaller offices and have found a new home at 1719 Capitol Avenue in Bridgeport (at the corner of Capitol Ave. and Brooklawn Ave.). The cozy new office space is the perfect size for the Council as we transform. The official move date is October 13th. On October 14th we will be at the new location indicated above
