🚨WID Station Schedule Changes🚨

Beginning Monday, August 17, Bishop and Bridgeport WID stations will be open Thursday through Monday and closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Bishop: 6:30am to 3:00pm
Bridgeport: 7:30am to 3:30pm

Coming to Mono County on Tuesday or Wednesday? Please:
• Wait until Thursday to have your boat inspected before launching
• Stop at Crowley Lake Fish Camp for a $20 inspection
• Rent a boat locally!

⚠️Inspections are required before launching. You may refuse an inspection, but your boat will not be allowed to launch, and refusing an inspection in violation of local ordinance may result in fines or jail time - OR, more importantly, skipping inspection could result in the introduction of golden mussels which would devastate fishing, boating, recreation, and the local economy of this place you love.

This week we find out what's beneath the surface at Upper Twin Lakes Bridgeport. 👀

Thanks to Clean Up The Lake for bringing their incredible stewardship and passion for cleaning our water bodies to Mono County. The Upper Twin Lakes Cleanup Project combines underwater debris removal with vital scientific monitoring to protect the watershed and preserve the region's recreational value. ➡ Keeping these waters pristine for generations to come.

This effort is made possible through support from the Mono County Fish and Game Fine Fund, Outdoorsy, and Westrek.

Join Trail Ambassador Bella for a hike among aspen groves, wildflowers, and waterfalls while stopping to observe and sketch the surrounding beauty.

This Saturday! Come in period attire (1880's and 1920's) for a chance to win, or just come to enjoy a little bit of history. The Friends of Bodie Fest is a moment for us to celebrate one of the oldest mining towns in California.

During the day, there will be tours and music. You can also enjoy stories from descendants who will share memories and photos from their families time in Bodie.
Stay for our Member Dinner and participate in our fashion show. Get the biggest applause and be awarded royally!
