Picture is a re-post from Jearene Hightower a while back depicting a 1972 "face lift". The building was built in 1892 and the original facade was updated to a more "modern" look. The building is no longer Sara Jane's Flower Shop and is getting a new "face lift". I'm so grateful to see some of the beautiful original elements exposed again. Thank you Jonathan and Michelle Cortez, Edge Crew owners, for having the desire and capability to bring new life to Downtown Bridgeport.

It is still Sarah Janes, but has a much different look.

This is the back of the building in May 1957 that is on the north side of Halsell and 11th Street. (last occupied by T&L Antiques. The young men have been identified by Travis Findley from bottom to top is Joe Gilliland, Pete Pelleberg, and Travis Findley. This building house Nimmo Grocery until the mid sixties.

Early Settlers of the surrounding Bridgeport area. Joshua and Hezekiah Culwell. Their land ran along the edges of Salt Creek, between Cottondale and Boonesville. They are twins born in Arkansas.
