We are so grateful to Office of Governor Ned Lamont, State Representative Cristin McCarthy Vahey, and State Representative Christopher Rosario for recently visiting The Center for Family Justice and meeting with our leadership team to discuss the evolving needs of children and families in our community.
A special thank you to Governor Lamont for supporting Pathways to Hope for the Future, our reimagined Child Advocacy Center, through critical state bond funding. Construction is now underway on this transformational project, which is expected to open in 2027.
The new Child Advocacy Center will provide a safe, child-focused, trauma-informed environment where children impacted by abuse can access coordinated services, advocacy, and support designed to reduce trauma and promote healing.
This investment will strengthen CFJ's ability to serve vulnerable children and families for generations to come.
Thank you to our state leaders for recognizing the importance of this work and for helping us create brighter pathways to hope, healing, and justice.
