Heart 4 Hearts is an organization that provides resources and referral services to ex-offenders who are returning into society following incarceration by provid
ing skills needed for successful re-entry into their community and increase family stability by promoting healthy and productive lifestyles through counseling, employment service, housing, education and transportation. Our program provides social and emotional learning programs to altar their life course to prevent re-entry into the prison system due to lack of resources. We promote positive values, education, counseling, and impart behavior patterns necessary for healthy functioning into our communities as returning, law abiding citizens. The Organizations activities listed below shall include but not limited to:
Ex-Offender Reentry Program –
The program should increase ex-offender and family stability and promote healthy, productive lifestyles. This will be done by working with the local Workplace to aid in job search to include: resume writing and interview etiquettes. Also, service in the following areas: housing, financial tutoring/education, transportation, and/or parenting and family support. Funding raised through government grants and solicitation from private, public and corporations will be used for housing, direct service delivery, capital improvements, staff and volunteer support, training, and/or program expansion. Annual Fundraiser –
One of the Annual Fundraisers is our upcoming Sister 2 Sister Breaking the Silence Conference that will be conducted yearly in October to promote Domestic Violence and Cancer Awareness. Through this Conference we intend to empower, inspire and motivate women of all sectors to their maximum potential in “Breaking the Silence” (moving forward in life attached to their desired goals). We will be giving away 5 total makeovers 2 to each organization and 1 to a conference attendees. This highly anticipated two (2) day event will take place in October, location TBD. October is nationally recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness and Cancer Awareness Month. A portion of the proceeds raised via ticket sells and donations for the conference will be donated to Organizations promoting these topics in the region of the Conference. We do not raise money for any particular organization. This year we have chosen to give to the following organization Domestic Violence Crisis Center in CT and the Stamford Hospital’s Carl & Dorothy Bennett Cancer Center/Help in Stamford, CT. Daycare Center –
Our Organization will operate a day care center open to the general public in which substantially all the child care activities are designed to allow parents to seek and hold employment will qualify under Section 501(c)(3). This day care will allow needy families to be able to afford child care. The center will provide a preschool children with comprehensive educational programs provided by a professional staff of qualified teachers. Some of the daycare’s income will come from fees charged to the families who use our services, grants, and donation. Additional money will help make improvements, hiring and training staff and school supplies.
