Heavy rain with 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour is causing flash flooding of small creeks, urban areas, highways, streets, underpasses, and low-lying spots. Turn around, don’t drown in flooded roads, and avoid driving through water. Report flooding to local emergency services if safe.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Showers and isolated storms capable of heavy rain could lead to
flash flooding in areas where ground is already very wet from
prior days of rainfall. In Pennsylvania and northern West
Virginia, where less rainfall has occurred prior, heavy rainfall
tonight may be sufficient for flash flooding despite the lack of
notable prior rainfall.
