This Afternoon Career staff from the 18th District and Career staff from the 25th District conducted a joint training working on vehicle stabilization and extraction. Crews discussed safety points, patient removal, sidewall removals and many more techniques.

🚨Recall Alert🚨

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of approximately 11,000 LShome Photoelectric 3-Pack Smoke Detector Fire Alarms due to a potential fire hazard.

According to reports, the alarms may have a sensing threshold set too high, which could prevent them from activating quickly in the event of a fire. This defect could delay critical early warnings that save lives.

The affected units were sold exclusively on Amazon between February 2024 and December 2025 for about $30.

Our utmost condolences are with the department and the family of the fallen firefighter who tragically gave his life for the City of Camden in the line of duty. May he rest in peace.
