Operation Awake

Operation Awake We believe that every community can be made whole. We address inequity in rural and urban environments by providing programs and services to uplift.

We provide services to address the 5 key areas of poverty:
1. Low Income
2. Education-Knowledge Base
3. Health and Wholeness
4. Healthy Communities
5. Unemployment/Underemployment
These key areas were highlighted by the Brookings Institute as areas of need for individuals and communities. We provide, vocational training, cultural literacy workshops, adult and child literacy programs, community hea

ling and action groups, and cultural exchange opportunities to provide greater access to academic and educational achievement. We serve all ages because learning is a lifelong endeavor. We believe that individuals and communities have the innate strength, knowledge and perseverance needed for wholeness. Our role is to awaken those qualities through access to training, workshops, and safe spaces to facilitate change.
