At this past Thursday’s Hopewell Township Committee meeting, Chief Kenny Mayhew was recognized for his seven years of dedicated service as Chief of the Hopewell-Stow Creek Fire Department.

As a lifelong member of the Hopewell Township community, Chief Mayhew has spent the past seven years leading our department with dedication, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to protecting the residents of Hopewell Township, Stow Creek Township, and Shiloh Borough. His leadership has helped strengthen our department, support our members, and ensure we continue providing the highest level of service to those who depend on us.

The officers and members of the Hopewell-Stow Creek Fire Department congratulate Chief Mayhew on this well deserved recognition and thank him for his countless hours of service, leadership, and commitment to our department and the community.

Good afternoon! The severe thunderstorm risk has increased for some areas later this afternoon and evening. Damaging straight-line winds are the main threat, however frequent cloud to ground lightning will occur with any stronger storms. Stay weather aware!

The Hopewell–Stow Creek Fire Department would like to congratulate Dallas MacMahan on successfully completing Firefighter I and ll training!

This is a tremendous accomplishment that represents over 240 hours of academic instruction, hands-on skills training, and physical work. Completing fire school requires dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to serving others, and Dallas has demonstrated all of those qualities throughout the program.

We are proud to welcome another trained firefighter to our department and community. Congratulations, Dallas, on reaching this important milestone. We look forward to serving alongside you for many years to come!

📢 Triathlon Event & Road Closure Advisory 📢
The annual triathlon is happening this Saturday, June 20th, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM! The race kicks off at Sunset Lake beach in the City of Bridgeton and travels through Hopewell and Greenwich Townships.
Expect heavy traffic and plan extra travel time. The following roads will be closed or affected during the event.
