Good news!! 🎉🙌

The nomination period for the Do the Right Thing Youth Recognition Program has been extended through September 15.

The program recognizes youth ages 5 to 18 who demonstrate positive character, kindness, leadership, courage, responsibility, and sound decision-making in their schools and communities.

If you have been meaning to nominate someone, use the extra time to tell us what they did, who was affected, and why their actions were meaningful.

There is still time to recognize a young person who deserves to be seen for doing the right thing.

✔Maybe it is a student who stood up for someone else.
✔A young person who made a responsible choice when there was pressure to do otherwise.
✔Someone who showed kindness, courage, honesty, or leadership when it mattered.

If a Cumberland County youth between the ages of 5 and 18 comes to mind, consider submitting a nomination.

⚖️ FREEDOM+ Municipal Court Diversion Program is LIVE in Cumberland County! ⚖️

This is a prosecutor-led diversion initiative operating in all four Municipal Courts throughout Cumberland County, helping individuals whose criminal charges or underlying behaviors are connected to problematic substance use. 🤝

✨ The Program provides:
✅ Compassionate support
✅ Individualized treatment planning
✅ Legal incentives for successful completion

🎯 Our Goal: Reduce recidivism and support long-term recovery by connecting individuals with the resources and services they need to succeed.

➡️Have a low-level Municipal Offense and need help with substance use? Talk to the Court’s Municipal Public Defender, or your private attorney, about applying for this diversion effort.

Together, we're creating pathways to recovery, accountability, and brighter futures.💙

🧡💙🧡💙Millville's Holly Fest was a huge hit! 🎉🎉The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Community Justice Unit brought Cumberland ROCKS! for attendees to express messages and images of community pride and hope. Be on the lookout 🔎 for the 130 rocks 🪨 painted 🎨 today, you may find them in your neighborhood!

The beautiful weather 🌞 made it easy for families to enjoy live music🎶, games🏀, food🍦, and local artisans together. A connected community is a safer community!💪
