This week was part two of an EMS Leadership Academy that our Asst. Chief is currently at to learn from other agencies and great speakers to better lead our crews and best serve the community. Today they got to hear from NCOEMS Chief Tom Mitchell speak on leadership.

Honored to have the Chief of the Office of EMS, Tom Mitchell, to present to Academy V of the NC EMS Leadership Academy hosted by Forsyth Tech today.

🇺🇸 Honoring the Brave This Memorial Day 🇺🇸
Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their selflessness and bravery will never be forgotten.
We are incredibly proud of our own team members who continue to carry the torch of remembrance. This morning, one of our dedicated Bridgeton EMS employees—who is also a proud U.S. Army veteran—spent their time placing American flags on the graves of fallen soldiers.
For those who served, the bond of duty and respect never ends. We are honored to have individuals on our squad who embody the true spirit of service, both in uniform and out in our community.
To all the families who have lost a loved one in service to our country, Bridgeton EMS stands with you today and every day. 🫶🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

🚨 Happy National EMS Week! 🚨
From May 17–23, we are celebrating the incredible dedication, bravery, and selflessness of our Emergency Medical Services professionals.

This year’s theme is “Improving Outcomes, Together.” It’s a powerful reminder that saving lives takes a village. Behind every successful outcome is a seamless chain of dedicated hands—from the 911 dispatchers who answer the call, to the EMTs and Paramedics on the front lines, to the fire, law enforcement, and hospital teams working by their side.

To the people behind the patch: Thank you for answering the call at all hours of the day and night. Your skill, compassion, and rapid action change lives forever long before the hospital doors are even reached. 🙌❤️

It’s always hard to watch an employee move onto bigger and better, even harder when we have watched them grow into the amazing paramedic they are today. At the end of the month we will be missing this lovely face as she moves states far away and begin another chapter of her life (don’t worry, she won’t forget us 😉 )

Fellow employees got together to send her off with a care package to endure winters where snow is the normal and shoveling a driveway is part of the morning routine. Help us show her some love!

So proud to be able to join No. 7 Township Fire Rescue at their yearly open house event! We may not be in their district but we do run calls within their district and they play a big part in assisting when needed and always answer the call! Thank you for the invite 🫶
