You're going to see us everywhere today! In addition to normal 911 operations, we'll be providing Advanced Life Support (ALS) coverage at South Fayette Township Community Day and South Fayette Township School District for multiple soccer games. We're just hoping the storms hold off until the evening. Cheers to Saturday Fun Day!

Another great "all staff" training in the books!

By popular request, this quarter's training focused on how our non-swimmer peers can best assist our water rescue team. In collaboration with LVA Water Rescue, everyone completed an official Water Rescue Awareness course, followed by an overview of our rescue gear - such as, how we use it, how it's cleaned, and where it's stored.

We are grateful for this award we earned over the weekend during Bridgeville Borough's 125th Anniversary Celebration Parade, organized by Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Department.

Being the best, however, isn't generally something we like to announce. It's something we would rather prove.

It's the standards we hold when no one is watching. The pride we take in our work. The consistency to do the right thing, every time, not just when there's an audience.

Recognition is appreciated, but it's never been the goal.

The goal is, and always will be, earning the trust of the people we serve. Everything else is just a byproduct of that commitment.

Whew, it's been a busy weekend!

We've got to give a shoutout to our team. These professionals stepped up to cover multiple special events, all while continuing to answer the 911 calls that are always our main focus.

We take pride in staffing our ambulances with outstanding clinicians who are exceptional and compassionate people. After all, when you call 911, you're trusting them with your life. That's a responsibility we never take lightly.

Rescue 815, ATV 815 and Medic 818-1 teamed up with Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Department and Bridgeville Police Department, taking up positions throughout Bridgeville Borough this morning to cover the Bridgeville 5K. We're happy to say the weather cooperated, and we were only spectators!
