Please be advised of upcoming milling and paving operations in Bridgewater starting Thursday, October 22:

• High Street (from the train bridge to Broad Street)
o Start Time: Thursday, 10/22 at 7:00 AM
o Impact: Milling and paving work; expect traffic delays.

• Central Square
o Start Time: Sunday October 25th at 7:00 PM
o Impact: Milling work; expect road closures and detours.

Crews are working on a water service repair at 37 South Street, requiring a temporary water shutdown. The repair is estimated to take at least 6-8 hours, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

🚧 ROAD WORK & CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: WINTER STREET 🚧

Please be advised of the ongoing redevelopment work on Winter Street:
• Drainage Infrastructure Work: Large excavation operations for drainage infrastructure in front of #289 Winter Street will continue throughout this week. This phase is expected to wrap up by mid-next week (Wednesday, October 8th)
• Road Grading, Realignment & Demo: Road grading, re-alignment, and demolition operations will continue through Friday, October 16.
Drivers and residents are encouraged to use caution, drive slowly through active work zones, and allow extra travel time.

Update: Water has been resolved!

Water Main Break: Winter Street:

Due to ongoing contractor work on Winter Street, an accidental water main break has occurred, temporarily affecting service between Hamden Avenue and Winter Street. Crews are currently on-site and working diligently to restore full service. The repair is estimated to take at least 7 hours, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

When service is restored, you may experience discolored water, which can be resolved by running your cold tap for 10 to 15 minutes.

Water Service Repair Stetson Street

Water has been shut off to Stetson Street, to make a service line repair. We will provide an update once the repair has been made. This repair will take approximately 4-6 hours to repair. When water is turned back on, you may experience discolored water. Please run your COLD water from the lowest point in your house until the water runs clear.

There is a water main break on Winter Street. . Water has been shut down from Hampden ave to Bedford Street perform the repair. The repair should take approximately 4 hours to complete. When the water is turned back on, you may experience discolored water. Please run your COLD water from the lowest point in your house until the water runs clear.
