VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Bridgewater's Festival Committee is looking for people to help make this event a success.

All the Planning work is complete, now help is needed for the weekend.

Event help is needed daily from 10am to 10pm.
Help is needed in the following areas:
Adult supervision of the Bounce Houses
Dunkees for the Dunk Tank
Trash Collection
Site Cleanup during and after
50 - 50 sales
Anything That Floats Race registration
Lighted Boat Parade registration

Message us if you are interested in helping or show up to the Borough Booth and we'll put you to work

1pm to 10pm - All Day Fun with a variety of Vendors, Dunk Tank, Bounce House, Hidden Rocks Contest, and more
1pm to 7pm - Petting Zoo
1pm - Bicycle Decorating Contest, Let's see your Patriotism in honor of America's 250th Birthday
130pm - Live Music by Clyde's Electric Chalkboard
3pm - Anything That Floats Race, Human-powered entries only. Pre-registration required.
4pm - Open Mic, PA, Mic & Drum Set provided. Bring your talents to the stage.
8pm - Live Music by Happy Hearted
930pm - Lighted Boat Parade, Let your Creativity Shine. Pre-registraton required.

Sunday, August 2nd
1pm to 10pm - Another Day Full of Fun with a variety of Vendors, Dunk Tank, Bounce House, and more

Come on out for some fun in the sun on August 1st and 2nd from 1pm to 10pm each day.
Activities will include a Petting Zoo, Live Bands, Bounce Houses, Dunk Tank, Vendors, Anything That Floats Race, Decorated Bicycle Parade, Lighted Boat Parade, and more.

The Borough of Bridgewater is seeking a qualified individual to fill the recently vacated position of Tax Collector. This is a 2-year term.

Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and be able to learn necessary tax collection software. Upon appointment, Candidate must also successfully complete the Act 48 Tax Collection Basic Training and Qualification Exam ($200 fee) and be able to obtain a performance bond in the amount of $2.5 million. Bond fees are paid for by the Borough and School District.

The Tax Collector is responsible for mailing of the annual tax bills and collection of the real estate taxes assessed by both Bridgewater Borough and Beaver Area School District.

Interested Candidates must submit a letter of interest to the Borough Office no later than 3pm on February 10th.

The Borough of Bridgewater is seeking an interested member of the community to serve on The Municipal Authority of the Borough of Bridgewater.. This is an unexpired term, commencing upon appointment through December 31, 2027.

Residents can submit letters of interest to the Borough Office, and should do so before 3pm on February 17th.

The Municipal Authority meets monthly on the 2nd Wednesday at 7pm in Council Chambers. The Municipal Authority Board is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipal sewage collection system, including two pump stations and the contract for treatment of the collected wastewater.
