12/12/2025

On Thursday evening at 18:44 hours, BGRS was requested mutual aid to 287 South for the MVC with injury. Upon arrival, a second BLS was requested to respond for a second patient with minor injury. BGRS treated and transported a patient to a local trauma center. The patient was entrapped, so FD was requested for the extraction. Strong work by all on scene.

This evening Bradley Gardens Rescue Squad was requested into Martinsville for the large brush fire to supply REHAB services. Special thanks to Joes Pizza in Martinsville for supplying the responders with pizza and drinks. Also special thanks to the Bach family for delivering the pizza and drinks.

UPDATE FOR BRIDGEWATER NIGHT OUT - BOOS & BLUES PARTY LOCATION:

After careful consideration due to the predicted weather forecasted for Thursday and for the safety of all attendees, we have decided to move the “Boos & Blues Party” to the Bridgewater-Raritan High School gymnasium (600 Garretson Rd) instead of canceling the event. Doors will not open until 6pm to allow vendors time to setup as there is a previously scheduled event. We hope to see you there!

Today at 1518 hours, BGRS was requested mutual aid into Raritan for the overturned motor vehicle with 6 patients on scene. 39 BLS 3 was on scene and transported three patients to a local hospital after assuming care from RWJ EMS.

Congratulations to Cadet-EMTs Hannah Arun and Allanna Nicholas! Hannah and Allanna just recently passed the Somerset County Emergency Services Training Academy EMT program. They have also passed the National Registry exam making them carded EMTs! Below is a picture of the graduation ceremony at SCESTA on Friday night.
