The Bridgewater Borough Police Department in cooperation with the Beaver County Community and Law Enforcement Coalition will be collecting new unwrapped toys to be given to children in need at the Breakfast with Santa event on Saturday December 13th, 2025. The donation box has been placed at our office at the Bridgewater Borough Building located at 199 Boundry Lane in Bridgewater Borough and will be there until Wednesday 12/10/2025. Please donate if you can to give a child in need a very Merry Christmas. Toys donated should be for children in 5th grade or younger. Thanks again and enjoy this Holiday season!

Due to the forecast for Thursday predicting heavy rain, strong winds and low temperatures the Borough of Bridgewater will be moving trick-or-treating to Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This change is being made for the safety of our children and the community. If you have any questions please contact the Bridgewater Borough Police Department or the Bridgewater Borough office.

Bridgewater Borough residents, just a reminder that the Borough will be observing Trick-or-Treating on Thursday October 30th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Please be careful driving during those hours and stay alert for pedestrians crossing the roadways of the borough and walking along the sidewalks. If you are handing out candy or treats please have your porch lights on so children know you are giving out treats. Let's have another safe and enjoyable Halloween night!👻

Starting Monday 07/14/2025 through Friday 07/18/2025 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Youngblood Paving will be working paving Bridge Street from the bridge to State Route 51 and Market Street from Bridge Street to Fulton Street. There will be no on street parking while the work is being done.

Youngblood Paving will be working on paving Bridge Street starting Monday 06/09/2025 through 06/20/2025. No parking signs will be placed along Bridge Street from the bridge to Mulberry Street. The paving will take place in sections at a time. The parking restrictions will be enforced in those sections and hours while they are working. If vehicles are parked in a section before they begin working, every attempt will be made to contact the owner and have them move the vehicle. Any vehicle that gets parked while they are working in a section will be ticketed and may also be towed to allow the work to continue.

To all our residents, please be advised that when you have a situation that requires a police response because of an active situation please either call the Beaver County dispatch center's non-emergency number of (724)775-0880 or for emergencies call 911. If you call the department number of (724)728-3335 and an officer is out of the office it may take several minutes or hours for officers to respond to your call. For relaying information or to reach a specific officer, please leave a message on the department answering machine.
