The Bridgewater Fire Department would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make the relocation of the Firefighter Memorial from the Town Common to our new Fire Station a success.

A special thank you to Captain Paul Chuilli for organizing and coordinating this project from start to finish. His dedication and hard work ensured that this important memorial has a new home where it can continue to honor the firefighters who have served our community.

We would also like to recognize and thank:
▪️ Bridgewater Highway Department for their assistance with the move
▪️ Ferrari Concrete Construction for pouring the concrete pad and safely transporting and installing the 2,000-pound granite memorial
▪️ Stonebridge Builders for generously donating the concrete
▪️ Barnicoat Memorials for donating the monument setting putty
▪️ Several members of Group 1 who dug out the footing for the concrete pad, helping prepare the site for the memorial's new location

This project would not have been possible without the support, expertise, and generosity of these individuals and organizations. We are grateful for their commitment to preserving this important symbol of remembrance and service for generations to come.

The Firefighter Memorial stands as a lasting tribute to those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our community, and we are proud to have it prominently displayed at its new home.

This week, the Bridgewater Fire Department had the pleasure of providing two Fire Truck Rides to School for some lucky raffle winners!

On Tuesday, Gianna, Emmy, and Jordan arrived at school in style aboard a fire truck. On Wednesday, Connor, Owen, and Zachary enjoyed the same exciting experience.

We hope all of our winners had a great time and made some lasting memories.🚒

Yesterday, Firefighters Handorff, Lieb, Murano, and Young spent the day at George H. Mitchell Elementary School’s Field Day!

Before the water games got underway, our firefighters provided a fire safety presentation for all students, sharing important tips to help keep everyone safe. The day wrapped up with some fun as we helped "confetti" the school principals, as a reward for the students’ Dance-A-Thon success!

It was a great day filled with learning, laughter, and community spirit. The students had a fantastic time, and our firefighters enjoyed being part of the fun as well.
