It's a nice day for Chick-fil-A!

Well, tomorrow - that's when they open!

Owner-Operator Paul Daniels welcomed Mayor Matthew Moench, Council President Joan Geiger, Council Vice President Andrew Bucko, Councilman Michael Kirsh, Township staff, and EMS personnel to a soft opening and "first bite" today in anticipation of their grand opening tomorrow, Thursday June 4th.

We were treated to just a wonderful morning: a beautiful flag raising, a ribbon cutting, a proclamation from Congressman Tom Kean, a traditional "first bite" (oh the pictures are fantastic), and a tour through their gorgeous facility.

Bridgewater, you are in for a treat. Come check out Chick-fil-A Bridgewater Towne Center tomorrow!

Yesterday was an absolutely gorgeous day for the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum JCC Bridgewater Spring Carnival.

Mayor Moench and Councilman Kirsh, and thousands of Bridgewater residents, friends, and neighbors attended the event. We couldn't have asked for better weather, and we truly can't have asked for a better community.

Thank you to the JCC, the Bridgewater DPW, and the Bridgewater Police Department - NJ for their incredible teamwork to make sure this event was the success we all enjoyed.

Congratulations to the graduates of the Bridgewater Police Department - NJ Citizen’s Police Academy!

Over the course of the program, participants were given a behind-the-scenes look at modern law enforcement and the many responsibilities carried out each day by the men and women of the Bridgewater Township Police Department. From patrol operations and investigations to emergency response and community policing, the Citizen’s Police Academy helps strengthen understanding, communication, and trust between law enforcement and the community we proudly serve.

We extend our sincere thanks to Chief John Mitzak and the dedicated officers and staff who devoted their time, professionalism, and expertise to making this program such a success. Their commitment to community engagement continues to make a meaningful impact throughout Bridgewater Township.

We also thank Mayor Matthew Moench and the Township Council for their continued support of programs like the Citizen’s Police Academy that help truly make our community safer.

Congratulations once again to all of this year’s graduates, and thank you for your commitment to learning more about the important work of our Police Department!

In addition to EMS week, it is ALSO Public Works Week!

This week, Bridgewater Township proudly recognizes the dedicated men and women of our Department of Public Works who help keep our community running every single day.

From maintaining roads and drainage infrastructure, to snow removal, park upkeep, sanitation support, fleet maintenance, and so much more, Public Works professionals are often the first to respond and the last to leave. They work behind the scenes in all weather conditions to serve our residents with professionalism and excellence.

Their work may not always be visible, but its impact is felt throughout every corner of our Township.

Please join us in thanking our DPW team for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to keeping Bridgewater safe, clean, and moving forward.
