🚑 Bridgewater Ambulance Needs Your Help! 🚑

The future of local ambulance service depends on community members stepping up to volunteer.

Right now, the Bridgewater Community Ambulance Service is facing a critical EMT shortage. Without additional volunteers, emergency response times could increase significantly, potentially affecting the care our community receives when every minute matters.

💙 Volunteers are needed to help keep this essential service operating. 💙 No prior experience is required—EMT training is available. 💙 Positions are not full-time jobs, but paid volunteer roles designed to help share the workload and support the current team.

Local ambulance coverage is vital not only for emergencies but also for community events and activities. By volunteering, you can make a real difference in the safety and well-being of Bridgewater and the surrounding area.

🌱 Friendly Reminder from the City 🌱

As mowing season begins, please remember that city ordinance requires all grass and weeds within city limits to be kept under 8 inches in height.

Property owners will receive one notice during the growing season and will have 5 working days to bring the property into compliance. If the issue is not addressed, the City may mow the property and bill the owner for the cost.

Current mowing charges are: • $75 per hour for mowing/weed removal
• Repeat violations within the same season may increase to $150 per hour

🗓️ Bridgewater Helping Hands is putting on the 2nd Annual Spring Clean-Up day this Saturday!

We are doing a potluck for whoever wants to join us in the evening.

We have some hot dogs we’ll cook up that didn’t get sold at the movie nights. But if you would like to make something and bring it to share with others, here is the sign up. Hope we can have many join and have fun conversations with people who live in our small town!

Planning to keep chickens in town? Please remember that a Conditional Use Permit is required.

📄 Applications can be picked up at the City Office

⏰ Deadline: Applications must be submitted to the office by May 14th to ensure publishing deadlines are met and to be added to the June City Council Meeting Agenda!

📬 If you had a permit approved last year, you’ve been mailed a copy of your previous application along with a new one.
