Nick Spinale, 28, and member of Chelmsford Local 1839 for two and a half years, was injured on Tuesday morning during the performance of his duties, training other firefighters. Nick fell approximately 40 feet from a window and sustained multiple serious injuries, including facial fractures, severe internal organ damage, and fractures to both wrists. He faces a long road to recovery, including several surgeries to fix his injuries.

Tomorrow is the day!!! we would love if you could swing by Black Hat Brew Works from 12pm-8pm and help support one of our own! One of our own needs your support! Mia is a beautiful 1 year old little girl who is the daughter of one of our firefighters. Mia was diagnosed with biliary atresia when she was a newborn and will be in need of a liver transplant. We are hosting a fundraiser this Saturday 3/7 at Black Hat Brewery from 12-8. There will be music bingo, raffles 50/50 and more!! If you can’t attend and would still like to donate you can do so on our Venmo which is linked below.
