Looking for a welcoming place to sew, create, and connect? Try joining our Hillsborough branch’s Community Quilting Circle! Enjoy a relaxed and creative space for quilters of all skill levels, including beginners! Come stitch with us on the first and third Thursday of every month with our next session happening this Thursday, September 3, 10:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

An ironing board, iron, and cutting mat will be available for shared use, please bring any other necessary supplies for your projects. We are able to provide six sewing machines on a first-come, first-served basis, so we ask that you bring your own machine if available so all can enjoy.

The Somerset County Library System Friends and Bridgewater branch Neighborhood Bookshelf is in full swing and off to a great start! The Friends and our SCLSNJ team have been hard at work curating and managing the shelves as they continue to get things rolling. Thank you to all who have contributed and donated so far!

Last month our Montgomery branch got to take part in the Township’s celebration of America's 250th anniversary! The library hosted a tile painting event where guests could create their own personal design that will be added to the town’s Rev250 Community Art Project. The tiles created at the event will all be assembled by the township into a large mosaic Unity Tree. We are so glad to have the chance to contribute to this wonderful community project!
