Please join me Saturday for a refreshing fall walk for a great cause.

The Walk for Survivor Safety will begin on the Middle School front lawn this Saturday (October 17th) at 9:15. Tickets to walk are $10 and support services for sexual and domestic violence victims provided by Brockton’s Family and Community Resources (FCR).
Representative Gallagher will offer a greeting and lead the walk and the National Anthem will be sung by a Bridgewater-Raynham High School soloist. There will be food trucks, games for kiddos and items for sale by various vendors until 1:00 PM.
Come join in and share good feeling by supporting FCR.

Congratulations to the Bridgewater Housing Authority on being awarded $490,000 from the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities- in partnership with the Massachusetts Cultural Council- 2026 Creative Place Making Grant Awards. These funds will be used to create the Hemlock Place Community Center, which will serve the Hemlock Drive and Heritage Circle Developments. Congratulations to all those involved.

Bridgewater and Raynham have been awarded $3,030,000 in grants under the Executive Office of Economic Development and the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities One Stop for Growth Programs.

This is great news for our district. I would like to commend officials in both towns for their diligence and effort in completing the application process and being awarded this much-needed funding for our communities.
