A wonderful endorsement received from Nancy Hawley, a Former Selectman in town and former Chairman of the Board of Finance.

I’m not sure Bridgewater has ever had such a strong team running for the Selectmen’s Office in its history. Jeremy embodies the kind of steady, principled leadership our town deserves—rooted in service, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to others.

A veteran who has served our country with honor, Jeremy understands responsibility and teamwork at the highest level. As a lawyer, he brings a thoughtful, disciplined approach to
problem-solving—always focused on fairness and the best interests of the community. Jeremy chose Bridgewater as the place to raise his children. He understands the value of our hometown school. He recognizes what makes this town special: connection, caring, and a shared sense of responsibility for one another.

Eric knows every inch of this town and has a demonstrated record of giving back. He
understands the town—the importance of Burnham School, our historic landmarks, the need to provide housing for seniors, and the value of thoughtful, transparent fiscal planning for the future.

Jeremy and Eric represent the best of Bridgewater—dedication, integrity, and vision for the future. This is the team that will ensure Bridgewater remains a place where families flourish, seniors are supported, and every resident has a voice.

Bridgewater Friends and Neighbors,

This election is truly unique – none of the candidates are politicians, they are all running because they love Bridgewater. There’s no negativity or questioning each other’s qualifications here; instead, you have the choice to choose based on the positive qualities each candidate brings to the table. Together, Jeremy & Eric are ready to work efficiently, effectively, and transparently to handle the challenges our town faces—planned or unexpected.

Jeremy Lingenfelser offers dedication, commitment, and a deep well of knowledge, as you’ve seen in our mailers and on our website. This isn’t just talk—he’s proven he finishes what he starts, holding himself to the highest standard. Jeremy won’t just go along with the crowd or back down from tough issues. His military service shows his strong dedication to our country and now, to Bridgewater. This is not a bunch of “bluster & bravo” regarding his accomplishments – it’s about him and his work ethics and all he has done or challenges himself to do with proven success.

Eric Soetbeer brings balance to the team. He truly understands Bridgewater—its history, its people, and the delicate balance of what works and what doesn’t. Eric has watched his own children go through our schools and looks forward to his grandchildren growing up here. He wants Bridgewater to stay the town we all love and cherish.

A question many residents have asked during canvassing is about the closure of Burnham School. Let us be clear: Both Jeremy and Eric are 100% AGAINST closing Burnham or regionalizing our elementary schools. This is not something either of them supports or wants, and they will continue to fight to keep our schools open.

Please consider what’s best for Bridgewater and its future. Choose competence, intelligence and ability—VOTE ROW B on Tuesday, November 4th!

Bridgewater Republicans, Jeremy and Eric are all in on building a regional team to stand up against the State Democrats’ reckless low-cost housing legislation that punishes small towns like ours. 💪 Our candidates know the power of unity — working together to protect our communities and deliver real results. 🇺🇸 We look forward to the opportunity to working with New Milford Mayor Pete Bass on these issues.
