He played a key role in launching BSUPD’s first annual National Night Out event last fall, which he planned and coordinated alongside Officer Locke. He remains actively involved in community outreach efforts and has made a meaningful and lasting impact during his time here.

A stolen bicycle report from a residence hall bike rack quickly turned into a great example of dedicated police work!

Officer Ken DeWolfe investigated the case and was able to identify the suspect and recover the bicycle undamaged. The suspect will face criminal charges.

What makes this story stand out is what happened next: the student had already left campus for summer break. Officer DeWolfe went the extra mile(s) to personally return the bike to its owner—an heirloom refurbished by her grandfather and passed down through her family. Great Job Officer DeWolfe!!

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of Boston Firefighter Robert Kilduff Jr., who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty last night while courageously battling a fire in Boston. Robert dedicated his life to serving others. A proud United States Marine, former BSUPD Reserve Police Officer, and devoted member of the Boston Fire Department, he embodied courage, honor, and selfless service throughout his life and career.
Above all, Robert was a great family man and devoted father to two children. His loss leaves an unimaginable void in the hearts of his family, friends, fellow firefighters, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Please keep Robert’s family, children, brothers and sisters in the fire service, and all who loved him in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
Rest easy, Firefighter Kilduff. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🚒🇺🇸🖤
